Typical uses
- Updating last year's board or client presentation when only the PDF is left.
- Reusing a chart or a table from a report in your own slides.
- Turning a one-page financial summary into a slide for a meeting.
Need only a picture of a page? PDF to JPG works in your browser, free and unlimited.
How to get a good editable deck
- Start from a digital PDF exported from PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides: text, shapes and images come back as separate, editable objects.
- Scanned handouts come back as one picture per slide. Make them searchable with PDF Text Scanner first if you need the text.
- Check fonts after converting: if a font from the original isn't installed on your computer, PowerPoint substitutes a similar one; pick a replacement for the whole deck under Replace Fonts.
Reusing finance slides
Board and client decks often reach you as PDFs. Converting them lets you update figures for the next quarter instead of rebuilding charts and tables from scratch. Charts usually come back as drawings rather than live Excel charts, so update the numbers by editing the shapes or by pasting in a new chart from your workbook.
